Gain hands-on experience facilitating community-based mural-making under the guidance of Precita Eyes Muralists founder Susan Cervantes. This two-hour workshop introduces Precita Eyes' inspiring approach to visual story-telling and the collaborative process. Participants become familiar with the mural-making process from start to finish, including budgets, contracts, planning, design and painting.

This special tour is guided by our founder and Director, Susan Cervantes, who shares stories about the beginnings of Precita Eyes and the rise of muralism in the Mission District as she takes you through the streets and parks of our beautiful Mission District neighborhood. Back by popular demand: the Precita Eyes History Mural Tour is now offered once a month, on the 3rd Saturday, at 11:30 a.m. beginning with Saturday March 17, and continuing every 3rd Saturday thereafter.
Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours
Cost: $20/General Admission; $15/San Francisco Residents; $10/Seniors;
